Oriented strand board (OSB)
Oriented strand board (OSB) is made from wood such as southern yellow pine, aspen poplar and mixed hardwood species that grows quickly and sustainably. OSB is made by cutting logs into strands, then drying them and treating them with wax and bindingers. These strands are then grouped into large sheets and pressurized at a high temperature to form panels. OSB is a product that serves the same purpose as plywood.
